The Dungeon piercing studio was opened by Megan Davis-Roden in 2019 within the Shear Genius building.

Megan received her qualification from the London Piercing Academy and the course covered the full range of:

A wide variety of piercings are offered by Megan, including ear, lip, mouth, face and body piercings. To view the full extent of piercings offered, please view the price list.

Megan opts to pierce with a needle rather than a gun because it causes less trauma to the skin and is therefore less likely to cause bruising and a longer healing process. Additionally, needles are more hygienic as they are sterilised and then disposed of after use, lowering the risk of infection.

Titanium jewellery is used because of its many benefits, one being that it is hypo-allergenic meaning that it does not cause allergic reactions and it is a non-reactive metal, being resistant to heat, rust and saltwater. It is also more lightweight and durable than other metals.
